Obviously, working with and around NCR Pads all day every day, we know exactly what NCR Pads, in all their iterations, are. However, we know that many people may not have heard the term ‘NCR pads’ before, and therefore may not really know what they are looking at.
This is why we wanted to write a short post explaining exactly what NCR Pads are, and where you might use them.
What Are NCR Pads?
NCR is simply an advancement of old carbon paper. With carbon paper there was a specialist piece of paper needed to transfer the writing between the pages. It was a slow and fiddly process. NCR stands for No Carbon Required, and instantly replaces the old system.
NCR paper is impregnated with ink which rupture under pressure, which in turn ‘writes’ on several sheets of paper at once. This completely does away with the loose sheet of carbon paper and makes for a much neater, easier and simpler job.
What Forms Can They Come In?
As the sheet of carbon paper is not required it frees up the design possibilities. Between our specialist printing equipment, and the trained team here at NCR4Less, we can provide NCR Pads in nearly any shape or size. See this post which lists the various options we can provide for NCR Pads.
Why Are They Better?
The answer to this is that they are simply time savers. Without having to fiddle around and finding lost sheets of carbon paper you can simply write and make two or three copies of any document. We have also found them to be much neater than using traditional carbon paper, and the customisable options available here at NCR4Less means that they can be tailored, thus saving even more time and expense.
